Cancer immune therapy

For 120 years, cancer immune therapies, frequently referred to as cancer vaccines, have been an area of great hope in the treatment of neoplastic diseases. But only the deeper and broader understanding of the molecular and cell biological context of contemporary molecular medicine enabled tumour immunologists to develop targeted interventions to manipulate the immune system for the induction of anti-tumour immunity.
